- Never add old coffee to a freshly brewed pot!!!
Just like a fine wine, freshly brewed coffee should not be mixed
with a lesser quality product. Although on the surface it may
appear economical and harmless, you will compromise the
qualities of a fresh pot with less desirable elements such as
a bitter taste and burnt aroma.
- Never re-heat coffee.
- Throw away filer and grounds in brew basket immediately after
brewing (reduces chance of bitter tasting coffee).
- Allow each brew cycle to be completed before removing the brew
basket, to avoid being burned by any remaining hot water in
the basket. This will also insure that you have the correct
concentration of coffee and water.
